The department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering is established in the year 2009 with intake 60. It is fully fledged with the state of art laboratories and has a team of highly qualified, dedicated & experienced faculties. It has well equipped and well furnished laboratories with all facilities to cater the need of students.

The department gives exposure to its students, to not only the regular Engineering curriculum, but also strives to inculcate a professional attitude in them. The project which is an important part of their curriculum, not only gives them a chance to understand and explore their area of interest, but also to enhance their practical skills as demanded by the present telecom industry.

The faculty takes initiative to develop new teaching & learning methods by using latest modern teaching aids. The department always strives to inculcate the very best in the students so that they can acquire the expertise to tackle engineering problems with immense confidence. The department has eight laboratories for UG & two laboratories exclusively for PG.The Department has lab VIEW academy which is the authorized center of National Instruments, USA toprovide hand on training in Lab VIEW for students, Faculty & industrial personnel.

The Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering is a most dynamically changing and ever evolving branch. The vision of the department is to produce highly qualified and motivated engineers.  This is achieved by imparting in depth theoretical knowledge during the lectures followed by hands-on in state-of- the-art laboratories. I am confident that the staff members and students would satisfy the responsibility and credibility of the department by showing a high level of professional competence in their respective domains.

The Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering maintains a library to meet the academic and research needs of its students. The library is open for students and faculty on all working days during the college hours.

The Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering Library, at present, has a total collection of 50 + books which include several Reference books, different textbooks, CD’ s which will be available to students and faculty members throughout the academic year. Also it has a provision for keeping the reports of project work done by our students. By providing journals, technical reports and other scholarly materials to faculty, researchers, and graduate students in the field of computer science, the library is a vital resource for information.
